Fatal Accidents
Fatal Accidents
If a relative or loved one was involved in a fatal accident, you may feel there is no sum of money that could compensate for your loss, but it’s important to remember your legal rights at times like these. Fortunately, you can receive financial support if you were related to or in a relationship with the deceased and claim for a statutory pay-out to support you during the grieving period in many cases.
To make a dependency claim or file for the Bereavement Award (a statutory sum of £12,980 for bereaved relatives), you must prove your relationship and financial situation with the deceased, which we can help with. If you’re unsure of your legal rights or your best course of action after a fatal accident, contact a member of our team for professional and impartial advice today.
